SANJAY SANYAL

Founder & Managing Director

Sanjoy Sanyal is an accomplished tunnel and structural engineer with extensive expertise in tunneling, geotechnical engineering, and structural design. He holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) from TU Graz and Montanuniversität Leoben, Austria, specializing in NATM and TBM tunneling, and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from IIEST Shibpur, India. With over two decades of experience, he has successfully led NATM and TBM tunneling projects for metro, highway, and railway infrastructure in India and internationally, including the Mumbai Metro, Surat Metro, Riyadh Metro, Bharatmala Pariyojana, Chennai Metro, London Metro, Delhi Metro, Ahmedabad Metro, and Gurgaon Metro. As Managing Director at Bouw Consultants Pvt Ltd, he has played a key role in project planning, geotechnical investigations, tunnel design, and construction supervision. His expertise extends to detailed project reports (DPR), feasibility studies, risk assessment, and bid advisory for NHAI, MoRTH, and State PWDs. Throughout his career, he has worked with leading global engineering firms, including Egis, AECOM, Mott MacDonald, Geoconsult, and L&T, in various capacities, contributing to design, consultancy, and project execution. With a strong focus on innovation, cost-effective solutions, and technical excellence, he ensures the delivery of safe, efficient, and sustainable tunnel engineering solutions worldwide.
